    The Product Specialist serves as the technical expert for our key product, the Cycloconverter (CCV), which is the core
    component of our Gearless Mill Drive (GMD) Application. The GMD Application is developed and manufactured within our
    local business line GMD, under the Process Industries division. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the
    gap between product management, engineering, service, and quality departments. Your primary focus will be on overseeing
    the CCV lifecycle, ensuring that the product remains up to date in terms of technical solutions, product conformity,
    and technical documentation. The CCV Product Specialist will report to the GMD System engineering manager and
    functionally to the GMD Product Manager.

    Your responsibilities

    - Take ownership of the CCV lifecycle, oversee and manage all aspects related to technical solutions, product
    conformity, and technical documentation.
    - Oversee the complete GMD system, including CCV, ensuring system and product conformity for the targeted markets.
    - Collaborate closely with the product management, manufacturing, sales, and engineering teams to define and implement
    product strategies, roadmap, and continuous improvements.
    - Provide technical expertise and support to the service department, assisting with troubleshooting, maintenance, and
    addressing customer inquiries, including active participation in the 24/7 Support Line.
    - Contribute to the continuous enhancement of product performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
    - Keep the GMD Sales, GMD local, and global execution teams informed about the latest developments regarding the
    offering and product enhancements, including conducting classroom and hands-on training sessions for quality assurance.
    - Maintain the technical documentation and design tools of the CCV, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.

    Your background

    - Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering.
    - Proven experience as an electrical engineer, product specialist or in a similar technical role, preferably within
    the power electronics sector.
    - A collaborative, solution-focused approach with effective communication and relationship-building skills.
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling seamless collaboration across departments and with
    customers.
    - Attention to detail, ensuring product conformity, accurate technical documentation, and adherence to quality
    standard. Education in compiling product documentation (technical writer) is a plus.
    - Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
