    About the Role

    The Senior Manager Internal Communications is responsible for developing and executing strategic, global internal
    communications plans and activities to drive engagement in alignment with Amcor’s Winning Aspiration and business
    priorities. .
    With guidance from the Director Internal Communications, the Senior Manager Internal Communications will also play a
    central role in designing and implementing the global internal engagement strategy advancing the company’s strategy and
    culture.

    Principal Accountabilities
    • Delivery of comprehensive internal communication plans that drive employee engagement and meaningful connection to
    the company’s strategy, brand and culture
    • Develop and lead the implementation of global employee communication projects and activities in support of key
    priorities – including executive communications, change management and employee programs and events.
    • Align communications strategy with business objectives to build awareness to engage audiences
    • Act as a trusted business partner to key internal stakeholders, ensuring all related communications support business
    needs and priorities
    • Support the development and execution of roadmaps for key communications channels, including internal and web-based
    platforms
    • Monitor and asses the effectiveness of communication tools and identify areas for improvement

    Qualifications/Requirements
    • Fluent in English with excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; strong storytelling and
    fine-tuned editorial skills
    • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or related discipline
    • Masters of Business Administration, Communications or related discipline, a plus
    • 10+ years of experience in internal and external communications roles in either FMCG or international companies,
    agencies
    • Proven experience developing and implementing communications campaigns including change management, employee
    engagement, leadership and digital communications, and employer brand activities
    • Experience managing agencies and vendors
    • Experience managing budgets
    • Packaging experience, a plus

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Behaviours
    • Demonstrating energy, maturity and leadership with the ability to drive the mid-term evolution of their area of
    responsibility
    • Ability to interact and influence business leaders positioning communications strategically, beyond just tactical
    execution
    • Sharp strategic thinker
    • Ability to build strong working relationships with a wide variety of cultures and functions / coach and develop
    co-workers in cross-functional teams
    • External and internal communication experience in international companies
    • Solid project management skills
    • Solid understanding of communication tools and channels, including social media
    • Digitally (IT) savvy
    • Ability to translate business objectives into a cohesive communications strategy
