Embedded Software Engineer

control platform for complex automation solutions for Bühler machines all around the globe, which is also a key element

In this position you will be part of the embedded platform team and develop the software for our groupwide embedded

In this position you will be part of the embedded platform team and develop the software for our groupwide embedded
machine control framework. Are you ready to take on the challenge and bring this next generation platform to market
release? Tasks
- You significantly contribute to the embedded software development of the groupwide embedded machine control
framework in collaboration with the global Bühler team and external partners
- You ensure the implementation in C
- Together with partners, you contribute to the tailoring of Yocto Linux for proprietary Controller Board (TI Sitara
SoC with ARM, PREEMPT_RT patch)
- You manage the maintenance of the C build tool chain and the complete software and platform documentation to
professional standards
- You drive the development of requirements together with other stakeholders
- You contribute to the concept design incl. specification (graphical & textual)
Required qualifications
- Enthusiastic about technology and innovation and passionate about the work you do
- Bachelor of Science (Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering or related subject) or adequate business experience
- Minimum 3 years of industrial experience in embedded development
- Experience in C programming
- Experience in unit-, system- and integration tests as well as automatic testing
- Very good knowledge of English and preferably good level of German
- Proactive, and positive thinking team player
- Willigness to travel (<5%)
