Executive Assistant to the Division President Traction
__
In this role, you will provide general administrative support to the ABB Traction division in Switzerland. You are
part of a newly created assistant team and report to the Executive Assistant. As a point of contact for enquiries, you
are providing solutions for those within your scope and escalating those that require it. You will be instrumental in
the smooth running of administrative processes and procedures within the business, grading the urgency of issues, while
providing confidential assistance to the local management team.

Your responsibilities

Executive and team support
Trusted assistant to the Division Manager Switzerland Traction, the management team, and employees, serving as a
central point of contact and ensuring smooth daily operations and information flow

Coordination & logistics
Planning and organizing internal and external meetings, trainings, events, campaigns, business travel, visas, and
conference registrations with a service‐oriented mindset

Administrative & systems management
Handling purchase requisitions and orders (Ariba/SAP), invoice control, time recording, SharePoint databases,
organization charts, and IT access and equipment for new joiners in close collaboration with IS and HR
(on-/off‐boarding)

Collaboration & communication
Regularly sharing knowledge, responding to internal and external inquiries, maintaining close cross‐functional
collaboration, and regularly contributing to the assistant community at the Untersiggenthal site
Your background
-
Completed commercial apprenticeship (Kaufmännische Lehre) or higher education, with several years of experience in an
administrative or assistant role

Solid planning skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a changing environment

Professional, solution‐oriented business partner with a friendly, customer‐focused approach who takes initiative
-
Composed and effective under high workload, last‐minute changes, and frequent interruptions
-
Solid written and verbal communication skills in German and English, with a collaborative team spirit

Proficient user of Microsoft Office

Authorized to work in Switzerland
