As part of the Group Platforms & Products Product Management team, the Product Manager Automation & Service defines,
develops, and manages Bühler's automation and Total Care offerings, ensuring they deliver customer value, scale
globally, and support Bühler's holistic solutions strategy.
The role provides business leadership for customer-centric product and service development, go-to-market, and
continuous improvement to drive growth in the software and service business.
This is where you'll excel
- You set the product strategy and roadmap for Automation Services and Total Care, aligned with Bühler's global
platform and service strategy
- You drive the advancement of automation solutions and link them to the development of new service products (e.g.,
service extensions, digital services, lifecycle offerings) to increase customer value
- You drive market and customer feedback loops (needs, trends, competition) and translate insights into prioritized
improvements and new service models
- You own go-to-market and commercialization: value proposition, pricing, launch planning, and adoption across
regions/business areas
- You manage the full product lifecycle end-to-end (ideation to retirement), ensuring continuous improvement based on
feedback and performance data, and enable scale through strong collaboration with development, sales, regions, and
partners
These are the skills you'll need
- Minimum 3+ years of product management experience in a comparable role, plus proven experience leading development
projects in a matrix organization and working effectively in an international environment
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Business Administration, with either a technical education +
strong business acumen or a business education + strong technical understanding
- Strong domain know-how in industrial markets, including machines, processes, automation systems, and services, as
well as automation and digital services
- Customer-centric mindset; strong conceptual skills in problem identification and solution design, with
critical/analytical thinking
- Very good communication skills in English and German (English C1 or equivalent); proficient with IT tools such as MS
