    Position Overview


    Join our Global Gas Power Engineering team as an Intern - Mechanical Arrangement Engineer! This is an exciting
    opportunity to launch your engineering career by contributing to the design and layout of combined cycle power plants.
    You'll work in a dynamic, multicultural environment while learning industry-leading 3D modeling tools and gaining
    hands-on experience in mechanical arrangement and piping design.

    About the Role


    As an Intern Mechanical Arrangement Engineer, you will learn to create the design and layout of mechanical equipment
    and piping systems in power plant projects. You'll be part of a collaborative engineering team that brings complex
    power generation facilities to life—from concept through construction.

    Key Focus Areas:
    • Power Plant Layout & Design: Contribute to general arrangement drawings and site layouts for combined cycle power
    plants
    • Piping Design & Routing: Participate in designing and routing large and small bore piping systems
    • 3D Modeling: Learn and apply AVEVA E3D and AutoCAD tool to create detailed 2D/3D engineering deliverables
    • Equipment Integration: Support the coordination of mechanical equipment placement, cooling systems, fuel supply
    systems, and support structures
    • Technical Coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including GE colleagues, partners, and customer
    representatives

    What You'll Do


    • Create layout drawings, general arrangement drawings, and civil guides for mechanical work units
    • Support piping design, routing, and support steel design activities
    • Learn professional 3D modeling software (AVEVA E3D) and strengthen AutoCAD skills
    • Participate in design reviews and technical meetings
    • Coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines and external partners
    • Help prepare construction and operation documentation

    Ideal Candidate Profile


    • Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
    • Technical Skills:
    - Knowledge of/or experience with AutoCAD or other similar tools
    - Willingness to master new tools (AVEVA E3D, 3D modeling software)
    - Understanding of mechanical design principles and piping systems
    • Soft Skills:
    - Strong communication and teamwork abilities
    - Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, global environment
    - Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality
    - Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn
    • Languages: English fluency required; additional languages a plus
