What you can make happen
As a member of the Lean Team at the GE Vernova production site in Birr, you will be responsible for driving the
continuous improvement and Lean activities for the factory, in partnership with the Production Managers and their
teams, leading production process simplification and transformation projects and initiatives.
Job Description
Your responsibilities
- Consistent application of Lean strategies, tools and principles to drive continuous improvement in the Birr Factory
- Partner with the Production Managers and their teams to define the key value streams that will have the greatest
impact on the business and the customer
- Serve as a change agent by influencing, communicating and institutionalizing a culture of simplification and
standardization
- Drive local employee input continuous improvement program and it KPI Reporting
- Inspire during the Execution of Kaizen Events and Lean AWO`s to observe, understand and evaluate improvement areas
in the production processes
- Establish appropriate operating rhythms with key stake holders to communicate progress, provide coaching for Kaizen
action workouts
- Champion lean deployment to drive production process lead-time and cash / cost improvements
What you should bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Deep experience in Lean or similar operational role
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline
- Excellent communication skills: Effective listening, written and oral communication in English and German is a must
- Knowledge and practical application of Lean deployment & Tools
- Experience on conducting Kaizen Events and Lean workouts
