Insights to Action. Brand to Impact
The purpose of the role is to drive sustainable value creation and market leadership for dust collection and reduction
portfolio (global vacuum cleaner portfolio). The role involves translating customers’ needs and pain points into
hardware, software and service requirements. The job holder needs to drive marketing topics in TTM projects with
development, supply, quality functions and lead regions. Ability to drive national and international regulatory bodies
is a key aspect for this portfolio
What You'll do
- Translating customer needs and pain points to hardware, software and service requirements, based on deep customer
workflow and application knowledge
- Solid understanding of technology to judge and manage technical requirements for the creation of leading solutions
- Monitor the industry and competition and derive conclusions to develop the business
- Develop strategy for own portfolio
- Manage product lifecycle from launch to phase out
- Define and implement initiative portfolio to drive sustainable value creation, e.g. pricing, CoGS, positioning,
geographical business development
- Globally own respective portfolio and be the interface to the Hilti MO’s and Regions as well as other functions like
Porduction, Material Management, Supply, Quality and Product Care
- Drive marketing topics in TTM projects as core team member in cooperation with development, supply, and quality
functions and lead regions
- Manage international and national regulatory bodies to create opportunities to promote dust extraction systems.
What You’ll Bring
- University degree in the field of mechanical engineering
- Master’s degree in economics, international management or MBA
- Strong commercial acumen and marketing skills, e.g. market research, competitor sensing, product lifecycle
management, product launches, communication
- Sound analytical and conceptual skills, ability to manage operational and strategic aspects concurrently
- High affinity for technical products
- Experience in production, sourcing external solutions and product management
- 3+ years of professional experience in Sourcing, Sales, Marketing or technical arena
- Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills in English and German (any other language is
beneficial), capable in collaborating with and influencing stakeholders across geographies
