    For our plant at our global HQ we are looking for a motivated and committed Head of Quality (m/f/x). You will lead the
    plant Quality team and drive Quality across our entire product portfolio in close alignment with our business units and
    global quality organization, shaping strategic direction and enhancing our Quality Management System. Reporting to the
    Global Head of Manufacturing Quality of Hilti, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional quality performance
    of our product to delight our customers. You will also be expected to develop personally for potential future career
    enhancements.

    What You'll do

    As an active member of the plant leadership team and a business partner to plant management, you create transparency,
    challenge the status quo, and develop and implement new ideas and approaches with your team. As a member of the global
    quality leadership team, you shape the strategic direction and drive the continuous development of our quality system
    across all international production sites.

    · Operational Excellence: You conduct regular product quality assessments and implement continuous improvement
    measures. To ensure our promise of top quality is always met, you monitor the operational performance, progress of
    sustainable corrective actions and challenge to production processes and systems to ensure quality at the highest
    level. With your experience in operations and quality, you identify potential risks and drive preventative actions.

    · Strategic Quality Leadership: You develop and implement comprehensive quality strategies for our production site.
    Your strategic vision will significantly contribute to defining and achieving our quality standards and prevent quality
    issues.

    · Team Development: You empower and challenge the quality management team and create an environment that fosters
    continuous learning and professional growth. Your leadership will inspire the team and motivate them to achieve peak
    performance and benefit from your extensive experience in Quality and Operations.

    · Cross-Functional Collaboration: Your ability to collaborate across departments in a global company setup is a key
    success factor for implementing our quality initiatives. You work closely with development and production teams to
    continuously improve product quality.

    · Global Quality: You further develop our quality system in collaboration with the global quality leadership team.
    Your expertise will help harmonize and optimize our global quality standards.

    Within your first 24 months, you will:

    · Elevate quality performance through measurable improvements in manufacturing, supplier, and customer quality
    outcomes.

    · Drive greater alignment and standardization across the global quality network.

    · Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to plant management and global leadership.

    · Build a strong talent pipeline and succession bench within the quality organization.

    What You’ll Bring

    At least 10 years of professional experience in leading global companies and 5 years in a leadership role

    · Deeply founded experience in Quality in development, production and supplier management, experience in metal
    production is advantageous

    · Lean Black Belt or similar qualifications are required as well as extensive know-how in key Quality methodologies

    · Advanced degree (min. Masters) in engineering, materials science or similar from leading educational organisations

    · Global mindset and stakeholder influence with international experience and with cross cultural teams

    · Strong communication skills in German and English
