What's the role?
Are you interested to participate in innovation and process development in a leading global manufacturing
organization? We have an open position for an intern in our local engineering or quality team for consumable
production. Bring in your expertise to help us to continuously improve our production and optimize our machine
productivity.
Start date is flexible to the student's availability, preferably minimum duration of 6 months
What You'll do
As an intern in our department, you’ll be part of a competent and diverse team which operates in different fields that
reach from anchor production, direct fastening to diamond consumables. You’ll work closely with our experts in
Engineering, Development and Production to improve processes and take over own projects along the whole value stream.
As part of our continuous improvement processes and operational excellence team you will work on next generation
manufacturing technologies within the context of industry 4.0. If you are keen on development and implementation of
solutions, material science as well as eager to learn new production processes, this position will path the way for
your further career development. We are always on the hunt for further ideas of improvement. Therefore, you will have
the opportunity to contribute with your innovative ideas to our innovation process and bring our production to the next
level.
What You’ll Bring
- Enrollment in Bachelor's or Master's program in Engineering (e.g.
Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Material Science/Quality Management) for the whole internship period
- Preferably first experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in German or English
- You are self-motivated, responsible and have a strong self-management
- Passion for innovation and process development
- Curious about new production processes and hands-on mentality
- Enthusiasm to learn and drive to suceed
