    Operations Simplified. Platforms Standardized.

We are looking for an IT Controlling Intern to support our Global IT Controlling team. In this role, you will
contribute to process improvement, automation initiatives, and monthly operational controlling tasks across our IT
portfolio. You will collaborate with Global IT stakeholders to enhance reporting efficiency, strengthen internal
processes, and support day‐to‐day controlling activities.

This internship is ideal for someone who enjoys problem‐solving, improving workflows, working with data, and
supporting financial transparency within a global IT environment.

    What You'll do

In this role, you will help identify, design, and implement process improvements within IT Controlling, while also
developing or enhancing automation solutions such as dashboards, templates, macros, and workflows to streamline
recurring tasks. You will support efforts to improve data quality, reporting structures, and process documentation, and
contribute to initiatives that enhance project planning and portfolio analysis tools. On a regular basis, you will
interact with team leads, product owners, and project managers to provide transparency on actual and forecasted cost
developments, keep project and portfolio information up to date, and support the further development of controlling
approaches. You will review investment proposals from a controlling perspective, perform in‐depth analyses, and provide
clear recommendations to improve cost efficiency and transparency, particularly for strategic initiatives and projects.
Additionally, you will create and lead initiatives focused on the continuous improvement of controlling processes and
become part of Hilti’s global Finance and Controlling community of more than 500 colleagues.

    What You’ll Bring

Become a valuable member of our highly professional and international team and meet the challenges of a global
multinational company using the latest technologies. You will have the freedom to act in your area of responsibility
while you can count on the support of your colleagues to master the challenges ahead.

    What you need is:

    - Current or completed Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or
    related fields
    - Strong analytical skills and interest in process optimization
    - Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (mandatory); experience with Power BI, VBA, Python, or automation tools is an
    advantage
    - A proactive, organized working style with the ability to manage tasks independently
    - Strong problem‐solving skills and curiosity to improve existing processes
    - Good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with global IT stakeholders
    - Fluency in English
    - Previous internship experience is a plus
