Technical Project Manager Electronics

Role Overview
As Technical Project Manager Electronics, you are responsible for the electronics system throughout the lifecycle of
our direct fastening tools, including sensors, electronic subsystems, battery interfaces, electric motors, and embedded
software.
You will act as a key sparring partner to the Project Leader and Technical Project Manager, you drive the successful
development, integration, approval, and lifecycle management of electronic systems, from concept definition through
market launch and product care.
This full-time position is available as soon as possible. No travel requirement.
What you’ll do
- Lead the electronics scope of new product development projects, including sensors, electronic subsystems, battery
interfaces, electric motors, and embedded software.
- Define system requirements, architectures, interfaces, and development roadmaps in collaboration with
cross-functional stakeholders.
- Coordinate hardware and software development activities across internal teams, suppliers, and external partners.
- Ensure seamless integration of electronics into the overall tool system, balancing performance, quality, cost,
timing, and manufacturability.
- Drive verification, validation, and technical approval activities, ensuring compliance with product and regulatory
requirements.
- Manage technical risks, changes, and issue resolution throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Support product care activities by driving electronics-related lifecycle management, component sustainability,
technical improvements, product changes, service readiness, and field issue resolution.
What you’ll bring
- PhD or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in electronic product development, ideally for complex mechatronic or battery-powered products.
- Strong expertise in electronic systems, including sensors, embedded software, batteries, motors, and system
integration.
- Experience in managing cross-functional hardware and software development from concept to industrialization and
product support.
- Strong project management skills, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and decision-making.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, align, and engage stakeholders while driving transparency
and collaboration; fluency in English required; German is an asset.
