Your Tasks
- Supporting Government Aviation Sales and Capture Management team by managing bids, proposals and responses to
requests for information as directed
- Defining bid teams where necessary and managing inputs for bid teams as well as ensuring adequacy, accuracy or
quality of response
- Supporting and/or leading proposal kick-off meetings and tasking other departments and teams accordingly
- Providing consistency of approach for bids and proposals for new sales from Government Aviation
- Ensuring internal compliance to applicable processes and procedures
- Advising Sales and Capture Management teams with respect to processes and procedures and working closely with the
Contract Management team to ensure commercial elements of bids and proposals are adequately and robustly addressed
With this you convince us
- A degree in Business/Finance or project management with experience in project management and in preparing proposals
for Defence customers
- Formal training in proposal development and or bid management, eg. Shipley method and formal project management
qualifications, eg. PMP certification
- Proven ability to lead and manage a large cross functional bid team in response to complex defence procurement
requirements
- Experience in preparing and leading responses in defence contracting requests for proposals
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office tools are essential
- Excellent written and spoken skills in English are essential, German is an advantage
