from detection, alarming, evacuation and extinguishing to danger and building management, as well as cloud-based
solutions for remote site management. With our broad offering we ensure the protection of people, assets and businesses

We are looking for a new colleague to complement our diverse team of Release Managers for our Fire Safety Portfolio at
Siemens Building Products. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our product and solution portfolio is released
predictably, reliably, and with the highest quality. Operating at program level, you will coordinate release planning
and readiness, manage program dependencies, and ensure transparency across deliveries within the organisation.

Location : this role will be based in Zug/Switzerland. Please note that qualified candidates need to be legally
eligible for work authorization in Switzerland.
Your new responsibilities
- End-to-End Release Management: Ensure successful execution of releases from concept to launch by coordinating
dependencies across multiple releases to ensure timely delivery within defined scope, budget, and quality targets
- Planning and Alignment: Develop release plans, including resource and capacity planning, while aligning priorities
with key stakeholders such as the Product Line Head, Product Managers, and Agile teams, and ensuring timely resolution
of product issues raised by customers
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact release scope, quality, or timelines, while
troubleshooting issues and maintaining contingency plans to ensure project stability and successful delivery
- Compliance and Governance : Ensure adherence to internal governance, regulatory requirements, and security standards
throughout the development process
- Process Ownership : Implement and continuously improve release management processes, while maintaining comprehensive
planning documentation such as deployment plans, readiness checklists, and guidelines to ensure smooth and efficient
releases
- Integration and Communication : Act as the primary interface between the Product Managers and Agile teams, track
progress throughout the entire development process, and communicate release status, dependencies, and readiness to
stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment
- Budget and Performance Tracking : Monitor key performance indicators related to development efficiency, project
predictability (including timelines and budget), and overall quality, while managing the budget and optimizing cost
performance to ensure financial and operational effectiveness
- Product Lifecycle Oversight : Support innovation, product strategy, roadmap development, new product launches, and
end-of-life planning, while collaborating with product managers and Agile teams to define product requirements and
ensure alignment with business objectives
Your Skills and Experience
- University degree or higher education in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable field
- 5+ years of experience in release management, product development of embedded systems with engineering tool and IOT
edge functionality, preferably within safety-critical or regulated environments
- Experience within the fire safety industry or related building management systems and services is highly valued
- Proven track record in planning, executing, and delivering complex software and hardware programs on time and within
scope, with strong emphasis on meeting regulatory compliance, and quality requirements
- Solid understanding of product lifecycle processes, lean agile delivery models, and release governance; good grasp
of DevOps and software delivery excellence
- Certifications in Agile (e.g. SAFe, Scrum) or project management are an advantage
- Strong ability to manage cross regional and cross product dependencies at program level
- Proficiency with collaboration and lifecycle tools (e.g. Confluence, IBM JAZZ, Microsoft 365); interest in AI
technologies is welcome
- Resilience in challenging situations, a well-structured and analytical approach, and strong communication and
interpersonal skills are essential
- Full proficiency in English and German communication skills
- Start date upon agreement
