Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions, focusing on exceeding customer expectations and
ensuring on-time delivery.
- Ensure the functional quality of released products across all required platforms and mechanisms.
- Lead technical aspects of projects within a product area, providing input to its technical direction.
- Consult occasionally with customers regarding future upgrades and product enhancements.
- Solve complex technical challenges, leveraging specialized expertise in multiple systems and software disciplines.
- Work autonomously on complex projects, exercising independent judgment and demonstrating extensive technical
proficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience on Windows/Linux platforms.
- Proficiency in C++ & Python, including experience with STL, BOOST libraries, and C++11/14 features.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented analysis and design.
- Familiarity with modern development practices such as continuous integration, build automation, coding standards,
peer reviews, and unit testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a keen aptitude for new technologies.
- Experience in software development for CAD, CAM, CAE, PLM, or PDM solutions.
- Knowledge of Tcl/Tk, QT C++, JIRA, Confluence, Git, and GitLab.
