    Your role and responsibilities
    In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead business development projects and/or strategic planning for ABB.
    Each day, you will act as a partner for the team’s management in the development and implementation of winning
    strategies. You will also showcase your expertise by creating proposals for profitable growth and differentiation,
    based on your deep understanding of ABB’s businesses and market environment.

    The work model for the role is hybrid.

    Location: Global, with a preference for EU countries such as Italy, Czech Republic, Poland Sweden and Turkey.

    You will be mainly accountable for:

    -

    Define, develop, and implement strategies, business plans, and LVS solutions for focus segments, key customers, and
    applications, with overview of all products in collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams.

    -

    Establish overall product lin positioning and customer value strategies aligned with GPG objectives and market needs.

    -

    Set and monitor KPI targets for existing products and new launches, ensuring achievement through collaboration with
    Marketing and other stakeholders.

    -

    Lead market and competitor analysis, identify gaps, trends, and opportunities, and propose actions for profitable
    growth and differentiation.

    -

    Drive development of global marketing and promotional tools (e.g. presentation, catalogue, etc.), support product
    launches, customer events, and sustainability initiatives.

    -

    Understands segment, channel, and customer needs in the market, identify and evaluated new market opportunities across
    all products. Set long-term goals and objectives for product portfolio aligned with GPG vision and market opportunities.

    -

    Identify new market opportunities, acquisitions, divestments, and business models; prepare proposals to strengthen
    portfolio performance and long-term goals.

    -

    Identify and study of opportunities of acquisition and divestment pipeline, or new business models, prepare the
    proposal for product lines profitable growth and differentiation, based on deep understanding of LVS businesses and
    their market environment.

    -

    Support Sustainability manager to initiate and implement GPG sustainability strategy and following up.


    Qualifications for the role

    -

    Bachelor’s degree minimum with 5+ experience in electrical or switchgear product marketing or portfolio management.

    -

    Strong understanding of marketing requirements and ability to identify market trends with strategic thinking.

    -

    Expertise in Portfolio Management, Business Strategy, and Market Intelligence, including go-to-market planning and
    customer experience success.

    -

    Solid knowledge of Regulation & Legal Compliance, Pricing Excellence, and managing Budget & Performance Targets.

    -

    Proficiency in Marketing Strategy, including content management, digital marketing, campaign and channel support, and
    platform management.

    -

    Demonstrated cross-functional leadership, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills in English.
