Software PLC Engineer – R&D

Your tasks
- Participate in the analysis of project needs and contribute to the definition of software requirements, including
inputs from Market, Production, and R&D.
- Collaborate with HMI, process control, mechanical, and electrical teams to define specifications for complex PLC and
real-time software components.
- Develop, test, and optimize PLC and real-time software applications to meet functional and performance requirements.
- Maintain and update technical documentation and software specifications throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support fast prototyping activities and contribute to sprint planning in collaboration with the Software Component
Owners.
Your profile
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronic Engineering.
- At least 1 year of experience in PLC and/or real-time software development ( , C, C++, Structured Text).
- Experience with simulation and modeling tools ( , Matlab/Simulink).
- Basic knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
- Experience in the machine tools industry and ISO programming is a plus.
- Fluent in Italian. English level B2 or higher.
