    We are looking for an Electrical Engineer for Converter Engineering in Zürich

    For our Propulsion & Controls (PPC) organization based in Zürich, Switzerland we are looking to recruit an Electrical
    Engineer for Converter Engineering who will be in charge of the Electrical Lead in application Projects and / or sub
    Project Leader for Product Development of the electrical part of converters and its subassemblies.


    Main tasks:

    • Work as team member in a project organization and represent electrical function

    • As Project-Engineer responsible for the assigned work packages in terms of quality, time and costs

    • Coordination of the colleagues in electrical engineering assigned to an application and/or development project

    • Electrical design of complete converters including the related documentation (e.g. electrical circuit diagrams and
    operation manuals)
    • Specification of investigation-, type and routine tests and analysis of the test results
    • Support for converters in operation worldwide

    • Concept evaluation for converters and its subassemblies in close cooperation with the mechanical engineering
    • Support in tenders with regards to concept, technical description, circuit diagrams, bill of materials and rough
    calculations

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor / Master degree in Electrical Engineering
    • Preferably 3-5 years experience in Development or Project Engineering
    • Experience with Power electronics core components Converter-Systems
    • Experience in project management
    • MS-Office, ECAD, Tools such as Matlab, Simplorer or LabView
    • Fluent written and spoken German and English
