As a Senior SAP BTP & Cloud Integration Developer, you will be a key contributor in our growing development team,
designing and building innovative integration solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Cloud Platform
Integration (CPI), and SAP Fiori Elements.
You will develop modern, scalable applications and APIs that connect our SAP BTP & Cloud Integration landscape with
cloud services, drive automation, and bring AI/ML capabilities into our enterprise processes. The position is based in
Aarburg, Switzerland and requires regular on-site presence.
Your responsibilities
- SAP BTP Development & Integration: Designing, developing, and deploying integration flows on SAP BTP and CPI,
connecting SAP S/4HANA with cloud and on-premise systems using REST/OData APIs, events, and message-based architectures
- Fiori Elements & UI Development: Building intuitive, user-centric SAP Fiori Elements applications using the SAPUI5
framework, OData services, and SAP RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), ensuring a modern and consistent user
experience
- Cloud & Data Engineering: Contributing to our cloud data platform with Azure Databricks, building data pipelines,
and supporting analytics use cases that leverage AI/ML models for business insights such as demand forecasting and
anomaly detection
- AI/ML & Emerging Technologies: Exploring and implementing AI/ML use cases (e.g. LLM-based assistants, intelligent
automation, predictive analytics) within the SAP ecosystem, proactively evaluating new technologies and integrating
them into our solutions
- Clean Core & Best Practices: Following SAP Clean Core principles, ensuring extensibility through approved extension
points, maintaining high code quality with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and contributing to our developer
guidelines and documentation
- Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Working in an agile team alongside architects, consultants, and business
stakeholders, actively sharing knowledge, participating in code reviews, and contributing to a positive, innovative
team culture
Your skillset
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a related field (or equivalent practical
experience)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP BTP, SAP CPI and/or SAP Fiori/SAPUI5 development
- SAP S/4HANA (SAP Integration Suite, CPI iFlows, API Management, Event Mesh, Cloud Connector, Destination Service)
- SAP Fiori & SAPUI5 (Fiori Elements, Flexible Programming Model, List Reports, Object Pages, Annotations, OData V4)
- SAP RAP & CAP Model (RESTful ABAP Programming, Cloud Application Programming Model, CDS Views, Business Services)
- Azure Databricks & Data Engineering (Delta Lake, Spark, data pipelines, lakehouse architecture, ML model deployment;
nice to have)
- AI/ML & LLM Technologies (prompt engineering, RAG patterns, GPT/Claude API integration, ML fundamentals, Python for
data science)
- Modern Development Practices (Git, CI/CD, Docker, automated testing, Clean Core principles, SAP BAS, VS Code)
- Programming Languages & Tools (JavaScript/TypeScript, ABAP, Python, SQL; familiarity with Node.js and React is a
plus)
- SAP Clean Core & Extensibility (key user extensibility, side-by-side extensions, approved extension points,
upgrade-safe development)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), German is a plus
- Team-oriented, self-motivated and eager to learn and grow
