Hilti Foundation – Empowering people to lead self-determined and independent lives.
As part of the Hilti Foundation’s in-house agency covering communications, branding, and content production, you help
shape how our social and environmental work is seen, understood, and felt in the everyday digital lives of our
audiences.
In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the Hilti Foundation’s social media strategy and content, from idea
to execution. You translate complex topics into clear, platform-native stories that make our impact visible, spark
engagement, and trigger meaningful conversations across key channels.
This role can be part-time or full-time (80-100%) and may include occasional international travel to projects or
partner locations.
What You'll do
- Take on ownership of the Hilti Foundation’s social media presence by managing editorial planning, content calendars,
and publishing across all social media channels.
- Develop engaging formats, series, and campaigns that bring the Hilti Foundation’s mission and programs to life in a
clear and accessible way.
- Create platform-native content across video, visuals, and text, translating complex topics into compelling digital
stories, while ensuring consistency with our tone of voice, visual identity, and values.
- Produce and publish short-form, social-first content for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
Shorts.
- Engage and grow our community through active moderation and meaningful interaction.
- Monitor content performance and translate insights into continuous improvements in storytelling, formats, and
publishing.
- Collaborate closely with program teams, communications colleagues, and external partners, including briefing and
coordinating creators or production partners when needed.
- Support the ongoing maintenance and updating of website content and other digital channels, ensuring consistency in
storytelling across platforms.
- Occasionally travel for projects, events, or partner visits, to capture authentic stories or collaborate with local
creators on site.
What You’ll Bring
Multiple years of experience in social media, ideally with a background in content creation and a strong understanding
of platform-native storytelling. Proven ability to independently manage social media channels, including editorial
planning, content development and performance monitoring.
- Experience collaborating with and external creators, freelancers or agencies for briefings and to ensure delivery of
high-quality content.
- Hands-on experience in content production (video, photography or editing) and familiarity with tools such as Adobe
Premiere or comparable software are a strong advantage.
- Passion for storytelling, platform dynamics, trends and tone of voice, with a solid understanding of brand
consistency.
- Excellent German and English, both written and spoken.
