(NCCR) dedicated to advancing muon science across particle physics, quantum materials, and applications ranging from
energy research to cultural heritage.
Muoniverse brings together 30 research teams from universities, research institutions, and museums in a highly
collaborative network, supported by the Muoniverse Research School, which coordinates training, exchanges, and career
development for PhD students and postdocs.

For the new NCCR Muoniverse, we are looking for a
Postdoctoral Fellow in muon physics
Your tasks
- Measurements of muonic X-rays from low-Z elements within the QUARTET collaboration
- Operation and further development of a metallic magnetic calorimeter MMC onsite at PSI
- Studies for the use of the MMC across various fields ranging from elemental analysis to radiochemistry
Your profile
- Completed PhD degree in physics or a closely related field
- Experience with particle physics experiments at large facilities is a plus
- Good communication skills in English
