Your new responsibilities
- Closing the Data Gap: Support our monetization initiative via data automation. You will drive insights into risks
and opportunities closing the gap between fast data generation and strategic decision/action
- Productivity & Cash Flow Analytics: Create deep-dive insights via data analytics regarding team utilization and
management, benchmarking these metrics directly against our cash flow performance
- Data Quality Assurance: Support GEC Power BI accuracy through rigorous data quality checks, ensuring the absolute
reliability, consistency, and transparency of data for the organization
- Step-by-Step Introduction: We will introduce you to the commercial steering of our programs. You will get familiar
with our commercial operations by gradually taking over foundational tasks in program-level reporting
- Risk & Opportunity Management : Over time, you will learn to identify, analyze, and track key commercial risks and
opportunities (R&O) across various GEC programs
- Commercial Steering: As you grow in the role, you will play an active part in tracking critical commercial topics,
preparing variance analyses, and supporting the team in strategic program steering
- Automation, Standardization & Collaboration
- Process Standardization: Drive execution efficiency and scale by setting up digital agents, automation workflows,
and standardized data processes
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with key stakeholders across Finance, Customer Development,
Engineering, and Program Execution to understand their unique data challenges and translate them into impactful
solutions
- Financial Planning & Operations
- Forecasting & Planning: Actively support the team in the preparation of monthly forecasts (FC) and the updating of
our 5-year strategic plans
- Continuous Improvement
Your talents and experience
- You are currently enrolled pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Business
Informatics, or a related quantitative field or University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland
- 1 to 2 years of experience with Microsoft PowerBI Desktop, or a strong interest and aptitude for learning its
functionalities
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of
information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic understanding of software development processes and methodologies
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably GitLab
- Proficiency in a programming language commonly used for data manipulation (e.g., Python, SQL, TypeScript) is a plus
- You are a motivated and proactive student with excellent problem-solving skills and a dedicated, results-oriented
work style
- Basic understanding of financial concepts and the underlying logic of financial data (e.g., revenue, cost
structures, budgeting, KPIs)
- Fluent in English is a must, knowledge of German will be a benefit in this role
