    To complement our team, we are looking for a customer- and team-oriented individual for our Plasma Control
    Technologies division at the Aachen (Germany) or Flamatt (Switzerland) site as a

    Head of Compliance and Reliability (m/f/d)

    To this end, we work and research on the basis of X-ray and radio-frequency technology. Our developments make an
    important contribution to safer, more efficient and more sustainable production, mobility and communication.

    In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the
    precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors,
    smartphones or tablets. At the German PCT site, the expertise is mainly in the field of RF generators.

    The focus of this position is to define and implement our "Design for Reliability" strategy for high frequency
    generators and matchboxes and ensure product compliance of COMET products.

    In detail this includes:

    - Technical leadership of an international team at multiple locations with respect to reliability and product
    conformity.
    - Definition of test plans and tests for qualification and determination of lifetime data in close cooperation with,
    among others, development and production to identify critical electrical and mechanical components - evaluation of the
    resulting data
    - Execution and moderation of FMEAs (support of failure analysis and root cause determination)
    - Analyze data to determine service life data and respond to customer inquiries
    - Implementing and maintaining a reliability, failure rate, and service life database
    - Determination of failure rates and MTBF on product and component level according to standards such as Mil-HDKK 217
    or RIAC-217Plus
    - Definition and review of conformance requirements during product development / release
    - Review of technical documentation with respect to conformance requirements and execution of all activities for
    internal verification and towards third parties, e.g. laboratories and authorities
    - Identify gaps and non-compliance issues and work closely with development to close potential gaps
    - Define and execute test plans on time in close coordination with development
    - Review, analyze test data and present results (including to customers) regarding compliance requirements
    - Performing and supporting risk assessments in close collaboration with development

    You have the following qualifications:

    - Master's degree in electrical engineering or related field such as RF engineering.
    - Good knowledge and enthusiasm for RF technology and RF products
    - Very good knowledge of reliability engineering and calculation methods
    - Excellent knowledge of data analysis, design of experiments and test automation
    - Knowledge of analog, digital and RF measurement techniques - Programming experience (Python, LabView, etc.)
    - Very good knowledge of EMC regulations and tests (EMC, EN 55011, EN61000-6-2, EN 61326-1, IEC60601-1-2)
    - Very good knowledge of functional safety and risk assessment (IEC, EN, UL 61010; IEC60601-1 Machinery Directive, Low
    Voltage Directive) and CE/UL requirements
    - Knowledge of WEEE, SCIP and SEMI standards an advantage.
    - Experience in leading a worldwide technical team
    - Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
