Technical Trainer for MV Drives (80-100%)

This position reports to
Technical Training Manager
Your role and responsibilities
You are responsible for the design, preparation, and implementation of the training for our customer and our service
engineers You will conduct customer training, either in the classroom or on site, with up to 10% travelling
Furthermore, your job includes the further development of the course content and training materials. You will work with
field service, product managers, development, and customer support to improve training, the product and our tools and
processes. Finally, you will implement new training methods like simulation tools, improve our certification concept
and develop e-learning modules and hands-on lessons
Qualifications for the role
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor or Master)
- Professional experience as a service engineer with drive systems in industrial applications.
- Fluent in English, German language knowledge would be an asset
- Joy in working with various interfaces within ABB as well as in performing presentations and the training of
technical staff from different cultures
- high flexibility and willingness to work independently and reliably around the globe and to represent ABB
