Turn complex procurement data into scalable insights.
Join Installation Systems Business Unit Procurement to transform manual, Excel-intensive cost analyses into
standardized and partially automated solutions. Working across Procurement, Finance and Supply, you will map data
flows, build scalable models and create decision-ready reporting for product cost updates, financial cost forecasting,
commodity impacts and supplier pricing scenarios.
This full-time internship is available from the 1st of February 2027, with some flexibility on the start date, and
runs for 6 months. No travel is required.
What You'll do
'- Map and document end-to-end data sources, business rules and flows supporting product cost updates, financial cost
forecasting and related cost analyses.
- Work with Procurement, Finance and Supply stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear, reusable
analytical solutions.
- Assess current spreadsheet-based approaches and identify opportunities for simplification, standardization and
automation.
- Automate data collection, cleansing, validation and consolidation from SAP, supplier inputs, commodity indices and
internal planning systems where feasible.
- Build reusable cost-modelling frameworks covering raw materials, steel-price impacts, purchase price development,
supplier cost increases, margins, scenarios and sensitivities.
- Develop Power BI dashboards and management reporting views that make cost drivers, assumptions and impacts
transparent.
- Test solutions with users, document methods and controls, and provide sustainable handover materials for future
planning cycles.
What You’ll Bring
To help you succeed, we'll provide meaningful ownership, access to cross-functional experts and the opportunity to
deliver solutions with visible business impact from day one. Here's what you'll need to bring:
- Master's student in Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Analytics, Operations Research, Data
Science or Business Engineering.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and data modelling; practical experience with Power BI or a comparable
visualization tool.
- Python skills for data analysis and automation; SQL knowledge is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities; confident working with complex datasets and
challenging existing approaches.
- Interest in procurement, manufacturing economics, product costing, supply chains or commodity markets; fluent in
English.
