We're looking for an Associate Data Services Consultant to join our team in Cairo, Egypt.
As part of the Data Services Team at Siemens Asset Management Software, you will support the delivery of high-quality
data migration and integration solutions. You will use tools and platforms developed by the Data Services Engineering
team to manage data transformation activities, handle requests from project managers and consultants, and operate ETL
utilities and application tools to support client implementations.
This role offers a clear growth path into customer-facing technical consulting positions or the ETL Engineering team
at a junior or mid-level level. It is ideal for early-career professionals with strong technical skills who are looking
to grow within a professional services environment.
Responsibilities:
- Data Transformation & Integration: Execute data migration and transformation using ETL platforms such as Alteryx and
in-application import/export tools.
- Ticket Management: Partner with project managers and consultants to address data needs and resolve technical tickets
promptly.
- Tool Operation & Support: Operate and maintain ETL platforms and application tools to meet project requirements.
- Customer Implementation Support: Support customer-facing teams with data and technical needs during software
implementation and new customer onboarding.
- Process Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of workflows, troubleshooting guides, and operational processes.
- Continuous Learning: Build expertise in data engineering and software development tools to support career growth and
team flexibility.
Required experience/skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical
experience.
- Relevant technical experience, preferably in professional services, consulting, or data engineering.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and scripting languages such as Python.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with both technical
and non-technical stakeholders.
- Good understanding of business and technical workflows; experience with process mapping and improvement is a plus.
- Preferably has experience managing ticketing systems, backlogs, and timely issue resolution.
- Experience developing knowledge management systems, templates, or reporting metrics is a plus.
- Familiarity with data migration tools such as Alteryx and dbt is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, process-oriented thinking, and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear,
actionable information.
- Experience with data migration or ETL tools, particularly Alteryx, is a plus.
- Understanding of professional services workflows, especially data migration and integration, is preferred.
- Familiarity with software engineering principles and best practices is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams is preferred.

Our Benefits & Rewards
The salary range for this position is $17,700 to $35,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The
actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant
