About the role
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer Pressure Equipment to join our Process Plants team in the Chemtech
division.
Key Responsibilities:

Creation of equipment specifications and layout drawings according to internal and international applicable standards,
customer specifications and contractual agreements

Independent processing of process equipment and machine orders with support of purchasing, project management other
specialized departments

Independent creation of purchasing specifications and purchase requisitions

Checking detailed documents created by external suppliers or customers
-
Supporting the project management in the implementation of technical specifications, regulations, quality and deadlines

Project coordination and communication with external suppliers.

Quality, cost and deadline monitoring and coordination of partial orders in direct cooperation with the suppliers

Sales support

Participation on continuous improvement tasks
To succeed in this role, you will need:

Technical educational, preferably mechanical engineering or a similar field

A minimum of five years of experience in pressure vessels and rotating equipment design for applications in chemistry,
pharma or oil and gas industry

Your know-how in IT and MS Office applications is on a reasonable level
-
You are a team player, customer oriented but also used to work self-reliant
-
Communication and organizational skills build an excellent basis for this versatile role. Moreover, attention to
detail is needed, and you should feel comfortable working in interdisciplinary teams and projects

Fluency in English is essential. Good German skills are of advantage
