Internship System Design – Medium Voltage Drives f/m/d (80-100%)

Internship Candidate who will be responsible for studying and proposing solutions to further develop ABB offering for
MV Drives. Let's write the future. Together.
Your responsibilities
- Dimensioning of medium voltage drive systems (Transformer, MV Converter and Motor)
- Calculation and simulation of system behavior and performance
- Determine specifications for drive product and drive system components
- Drive discussion with possible component suppliers
Your background
- On your way to get a degree in Electrical Engineering
- System design engineering basic knowledge, familiar with harmonics
- Basic experience with MATLAB simulation
- Understanding in the field of power electronic, AC/DC rectifier, DC/AC inverter
- High level of motivation and results-oriented attitude
- Solid communication and basic presentation skills as well as cultural awareness and flexibility
- Fluent command of English
