Job Description

Subjects
You will be integrated in the process engineering department and work on tangible projects for a process optimization. You will gain insights into how this department is working and will be given the opportunity to collaborate independently depending on your skills. This will enable you to enhance your professional experience and make practical use of your knowledge.
The major of your thesis will be the optimization of the laser marking process.
Main step of the project will be:
1. Identify process chains and materials which get laser marked
2. Evaluate laser marking technologies to eliminate secondary passivation
3. Verify technologies by representative test samples
4. Provide a technology solution and calculate the monetary benefit for the site
Prerequisites:
We are mainly looking for applicants from mechanical/materials/chemical engineering. However, also other engineering specialties will get a chance. It is of particular importance in the first place that your field of study matches with the professional opportunities we are offering.
