    Regional Category Manager Electronics 80 -100% (m/f/d)

    We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

    In this role, you are responsible for the strategic purchase of electronic components to continuously optimize the
    supply base of the Schindler Group.

    As the Regional Lead Buyer, you deploy the global strategy within Europe and align with the Global Category Managers.
    You work closely together with Operations and liaise with the engineering departments as part of the Global Procurement
    Team.

    Main challenges include:

    -

    Developing strategic sourcing plans, including making or buying decisions and adequate risk assessment

    -

    Execute strategic supply base rationalization activities such as analyzing suppliers’ strengths in the respective
    categories and rationalizing the supply base

    -

    Lead external supplier-related contract and commercial negotiations as well as total cost reduction-related activities

    -

    Co-ordinate Supply Chain optimization related activities through cross-functional teams and deploy the global
    Electronics and Electromechanics strategy

    -

    Active participation in new product introduction – reducing time to market by optimizing supply chain-related
    conditions

    Further requirements may include:

    Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering

    -

    Knowledge of the electronic market as well as in application of strategic sourcing and category sourcing

    Professional experience in international projects/change management

    Working proficiency language skills in English and Italian
